This time of year is one of the hardest for me because I have to turn so many clients away. From November to February, I am overwhelmed with last-minute e-mails hoping that I can squeeze another boudoir session in before Christmas or Valentine’s, and I wish I could say yes to everyone! However, I put strict limits on the number of sessions I take in a week because I want to be sure that I’m giving the absolute best experience to every one of my clients, and the closer it gets to your special occasion, the harder it is to find a time that will work (and I do my best to accommodate!).
So, if you’re wanting to get your Boudoir by Wallflower session on the books, there’s no better time than now to get in touch! Here are my top five reasons to not put it off any longer 🙂
1. There’s no reason to be nervous!
One of the things that I wish I could tell every single person I talk to is that there’s absolutely nothing to be nervous about when booking your session with Boudoir by Wallflower. I’m in my sixth year of doing nothing but boudoir photography all day, every day, and I love what I do. You don’t have to be outgoing, you don’t have to be completely self-assured, and you don’t have to wonder if your images will “turn out” – I have photographed over six hundred women, and no matter how you feel going into this experience, you’ll feel amazing coming out of it. I don’t photograph models. Every woman on my website, blog, and Facebook is a client of mine, just like you, who has graciously allowed me to share her images so that other women can see what a Boudoir by Wallflower session is all about.
At your consultation, we will talk about all the details of your session and design it just for you. Before your shoot, I will create a whole range of poses just for you that will show off your body and your style in the most stunning ways imaginable, and on your shoot day, I will coach you through every little detail. It’s 100% okay that you’ve never done anything like this before!
2. I’m here to answer every single question you could possibly have.
Don’t be afraid to ask me anything. That’s what the consultation is for! We’ll spend time going over what you’re looking for in your images, go over the beautiful albums and products I offer, figure out the perfect outfit options to go with the sets you choose, and pick out the date for your shoot! It’s a very exciting day 🙂
Another great thing about coming to my studio for your consultation is that a lot of your questions are answered before you even ask them. You can talk to me one-on-one and see the gorgeous studio I built exclusively for boudoir photography. And, since this is an all-female experience (you’ll only ever work with me and my stylist!), you don’t have to be nervous about asking any questions at all. I’m a boudoir photographer, chances are I’ve heard it all already! So, whatever you’re wondering about, let me give you an answer. (Also, don’t miss my FAQ and my videos! Lots of great information there!)
3. My calendar fills up in advance!
Like I mentioned earlier, it can be difficult to accommodate last-minute bookings! Most of my clients like to plan their session several weeks in advance, and that means that my session times disappear pretty quickly. I’m certainly not complaining! 🙂 Planning ahead is absolutely the way to go when setting up your session. I book consultations up to a month out, schedule sessions up to three months after the consultation date (we choose your session date at the consultation!), and offer payment plans for up to six months after the session! So, if you’ve got an October anniversary coming up, you are absolutely not too early to get set up!
I don’t offer specials or mini-sessions at any time during the year, so there’s no “wrong time” to get in touch. Everything I do is all about providing the best boudoir experience, and I want to make sure I can deliver that no matter when you book!
4. You’re going to have so much fun!
This should probably be #1…it’s so true! If I didn’t love what I do, I wouldn’t keep doing it. More importantly, if my clients didn’t LOVE their experiences, THEY wouldn’t keep doing it! 🙂 I get some of the sweetest e-mails from women after their sessions, and they mean the world to me. The “Confessions” page is full of women talking about their shoots, and it’s the reason I get up and come to the studio every day!
5. You’ll always wish you would have.
There truly is no time like the present to love your body and love who you are! If you wait until you’re 100% ready, you’ll never get to have this incredible experience. Whenever I’m wanting to do something big (and hesitating), my husband tells me, “There are always a thousand reasons not to do something,” and he’s so right…there were a thousand reasons not to start Boudoir by Wallflower, but I am so glad I did! Did you know I was a paralegal before this? My life changed so dramatically when I left that job to do this full-time, and so many of my clients’ lives are changed when they leave my studio. Why wait to give yourself more confidence? Why wait to fall in love even more with who you were made to be? Just like every day I stayed a paralegal was one more day I wasn’t doing what I loved, every day you put off a session is a day that you haven’t realized just how beautiful you really are.
