What do you do for a living?
I’m a photographer as well!
Why did you want to do a boudoir session?
I had been wanting to do something special for my fiance for a while. As I photographer I am obviously crazy about photography. I saw an ad for Boudoir by Wallflower and checked out her website out of curiousity. I fell in love with her work and her style and decided I needed some photos of my own!
What made you choose Wallflower?
As a photographer I have my own photographic eye. Sometimes I can respect a photographer’s talent but at the same time dislike the style. However, I fell in love with Wallflower’s style. She showed so much passion and versatility in her portfolio. The women looked so beautiful and not overly “sexified.” Also, her client testimonies were very positive and encouraging!
Were you nervous at all to do your shoot?
Not really, I was more excited than anything. I took time to prepare for my shoot through my diet and exercise. I went in already feeling confident and beautiful!
What was your favorite part of the experience?
Christina was my favorite part. She is so passionate, energetic and fun. I definitely think a different photographer would have given me a completely different experience. Christina was probably more excited about my shoot and images than I was! She’s amazing and she made everything so easy and painless. We laughed our way through the shoot and MY IMAGES ARE AMAZING.
What would you tell a friend if they were thinking about doing a boudoir session?
Wallflower is a bit pricy (I’m in my mid-twenties so most of my friends are young and single and don’t have the financial support system that I do) but SHE IS SO WORTH IT.
I’m always an advocate for exploring options but I also voice my opinion when I have one. My opinion is that you won’t find a studio like Wallflower anywhere!
What was it like to see your photos?
It was amazing. It’s one thing to see senior or engagement pictures when you’re all dolled up but it’s a completely different experience seeing yourself in boudoir. I was afraid the images would be too far off “normal” that they wouldn’t seem real. I was afraid it would be like, “Yeah I look like that after weeks of dieting and pounds of makeup.” But at the root of every image I saw ME. Goofy, quirky, playful me, who just happens to have a sexier side that not everyone gets to see.
Was everything what you expected it to be when you first got in touch?
I had no real expectations. I made the consultation just to see if we would be a good fit working with each other. I immediately fell in love and have been blown away by both the experience and my images!
Do you see yourself differently after having your session?
Yes. I actually care less about what I look like on the outside now, if that makes any sense. Obviously a photoshoot revolves around how you look but in the end I think the images were beautiful because of the personality I brought to them. Anyone can throw on lingerie and makeup, but loving yourself, laughing, having fun and allowing yourself to let go and just be you is the most beautiful thing any woman can do.

Seriously though. I figured “of course she only puts the best reviews up,” but now I think she’s never even had a bad review. Christina is amazing. The experience was amazing. My images are amazing. DO NOT BE ASHAMED OF YOUR BODY. I was guilty of thinking “I need to look a certain way before my shoot to feel good about it.” I was WRONG. YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL EXACTLY HOW YOU ARE, INSIDE AND OUT. LET CHRISTINA CAPTURE IT SO YOU CAN SEE FOR YOURSELF. SHE ROCKS.
