The Women’s Fair is just over a week away, and I cannot wait to be a part of it again!
This will be Boudoir by Wallflower’s 7th year at the Women’s Fair, and I am doing something I’ve never done before. Instead of spending the weekend talking to people about why they should do a boudoir shoot with me or setting up consultations, I’m going to simply focus on the reason I created this business in the first place: to empower women and make them feel beautiful.
Every year, I talk to so many women who look through my images and say, “If I was 20 lbs lighter, I’d do this,” or “If I was 10 years younger” or “If I looked like her, I’d definitely book a shoot”, and it breaks. my. heart. I see so many beautiful women who just don’t think they are enough, and this year I am going to fight that harder than I ever have before! I get so little time with every woman I talk to at shows like this, and I want to use every second to make you feel that much more beautiful.
So, as you can see in the video, I’ve made 1,000 cards that say, “I love my ____!”, and I want you to tell me (and the world) what you love about YOU. Take a selfie with the card and tag me on Instagram (@BoudieNation) or on Facebook (Boudoir by Wallflower) and you’ll be automatically entered to win a $100 Victoria’s Secret shopping spree! It’s my own little way of helping you spread this empowering message to even more women than I’ll get to meet that weekend.
I want to hear your stories, I want to know what you see in yourself that is beautiful. Have fun with it, get real with it, just be you.
Because you are enough.
And you are beautiful.
[…] I wanted to make my ad a little Valentine to the women of Wichita. It aligned perfectly with my Women’s Fair booth to help spread a body-positive message to as many women as […]
[…] I know we all have things that start to jump into our minds of what we don’t like, but it’s time to flip the script. What about all of those features you DO like? Don’t they deserve some more attention? (ICYMI – this is what my whole booth at Women’s Fair was about this year and you can watch the video here!) […]
