1. What do you do for a living?
I work full time as an ultrasound tech and radiology tech (8 years)
2. Why did you want to do a boudoir session?
I have always wanted to capture pictures of myself looking and feeling amazing. It just happened to work out at a time that I was prepping for a show, so I wanted to show off my hard work and document a momentous time in my life. Being a mom and working full time means I don’t get as much time for myself as I would like sometimes, so having a day to get all fixed up and pretty was an awesome feeling. I also wanted to be able to surprise and share these photos with my husband.
3. What made you choose Wallflower?
I had come across Wallflower by searching on the internet and saw some of the great photos online. I made an appointment to set up a session. After meeting with Christina and Aaron, I knew they were both wonderful photographers. I have been lucky enough to do photo shoots with both Christina and Aaron. They are amazing!
Note from Christina: When I first met with Rebecca, she was looking to do fitness photos, so I referred her to my husband, Aaron, who is a fitness and commercial photographer 🙂 We love it when we both get to photograph such an amazing client!
4. Were you nervous at all to do your shoot?
Not at all! Christina is so very helpful and kind. I knew I was in the best hands that day. She gave specific instructions and how to pose (she had all kinds of different ideas for the sets I chose). She also made me feel comfortable the whole time.
5. What was your favorite part of the experience?
I think my favorite part of the experience was actually coming back to review all of the photos she took the day of the shoot! My jaw dropped seeing all of the pictures on the big screen and was amazed at her work and how great I looked! I was so excited and it was hard to pick my favorite picture.
6. What would you tell a friend if they were thinking about doing a boudoir session?
Don’t second guess yourself. If you have had the thought of wanting to do a session then go for it! You’ll have a good time and will be thankful that you had done it!
7. What was it like to see your photos?
Breathtaking. I think that sums it up for me. I was very impressed with every photo taken that day!
8. Was everything what you expected it to be when you first got in touch?
Everything was perfect. Setting everything up went smooth and all of my questions were answered clearly and she paid great attention to detail.
9. Do you see yourself differently after having your session?
Yes, I see myself not only as a wife and mom who is always busy, but someone who can have a fun, flirty, and carefree side at times and it was awesome to capture that with the boudoir session with Wallflower! Seeing your photos also gives you a little more empowerment and confidence in yourself!
10. Anything else you’d like to throw out there?
I would recommend to anyone out there thinking of doing a boudoir session to check out Wallflower. Amazing people and amazing photos! Don’t wait, now’s the time to indulge!
