How do you feel beautiful? | Boudoir by Wallflower

I’m about to re-launch my “Top Ten Things to Wear” post that I originally wrote in 2013, and it got me thinking about wardrobe for boudoir in a new light.  I’ve always been up for shooting whatever outfits my clients love, but I don’t know that I’ve said it enough: I want to photograph you feeling beautiful!

What is boudoir photography?  Is it lingerie and lace?  Sure!  But can’t you feel sexy in a tank top and stonewashed jeans?  Oh yeah.  My in-house poster-girl of gorgeous (my makeup artist, Kayla) did a shoot with me to show several different ways to think outside the box when it comes to choosing “non-traditional boudoir” attire, and we had way too much fun doing it! (See if you can spot the pizza box in the video…it was a long shoot day!)

Here’s the thing:

Some women want to feel beautiful and sexy in lingerie (or nothing at all!) – I’m all about that!  I’ve built this studio to be the absolute best boudoir experience a woman can have, and I love every bit of it.

Some women want to feel beautiful and sexy in a dress or their favorite outfit.  I’m all about that, too!  In fact, I always have been.  I’ve never defined beauty by wardrobe.  That’s why I wanted to share this video and these images, because:

Bottom line, I don’t care what you’re wearing as long as you feel amazing in it!

And I don’t want any woman to feel like she can’t come to my studio because she doesn’t want to “show as much”.  Boudoir by Wallflower is all about building confidence in a woman, and that transcends wardrobe.  Would most people look at these photos and say they’re boudoir?  Probably not…but they are definitely Wallflower.

This is what Wallflower is all about – giving you that day to be a supermodel and giving you images to hold onto for years to come to remind you of that feeling.
