Bombshell Tip #15 – Breathe.
Simply taking time to breathe is more important that we give it credit for! Deep breaths help us to relax our minds and be present in the moment. It can feel difficult at first because many of us are used to shallow “chest breathing”, which can make us feel more anxious and out-of-breath. Deep breathing happens lower in the diaphragm and promotes a full oxygen exchange which can slow the heartbeat and lower or stabilize blood pressure.
So, the next time you start to feel tense or stressed, remember to take some slow, deep breaths. You’ve got this.
