i believe in boudoir
I’m not one those photographers that is always behind the camera and never in front of it.
I used to be.
But, the first time I got all dolled up and experienced a boudoir photo shoot, I learned what it meant to be confident and comfortable in my body, and it immediately changed my career.
In late 2010, I was a paralegal during the week and a wedding/portrait photographer on the weekends, but by April 2011, I was a full-time, all-in boudoir photographer…and I haven’t looked back.
What I got from my boudoir shoot (shot by my commercial-photographer-husband) is what I want to give to EVERY woman I meet.
Since then, I’ve photographed over 700 women, and I’m looking forward to my next 700! I’ve also continued to put myself in front of the camera at LEAST once a month. I’m constantly trying new poses and expression techniques on myself so that I can bring that to every client’s shoot. I’ve been in your shoes well over 100 times now, and there are 50,000+ photos to prove it!
When I’m not in the studio, I love to travel (take me back to Edinburgh…), read Stephen King books, practice yoga, and even brew some beer every once in a while!
I’m a fun-loving girl and I think we’ll get along great <3
